Welcome to GemX
GemX was launched recently as a multi functional website. Its main feature is the short and easy to remember url which makes it a prime spot for various features.
GemX has many features. Its still under development, however some of its features are already here!
First off, GemX YouTube client offers you to see YouTube videos on GemX site. It also grabs the video from YouTube website and disables the widescreen HD feature at the click of a button on your browser! All you need to do is drag a link to where you want it, and you are done! It is specially useful for users with low speed internet connection (including myself).
Secondly, GemX will be providing shortURL service, along with anonymous URL redirection service.
You may ask why not use TinyURL or other similar services? The reason is we provide an option to lock your links with a password if you choose to. This ensures that you can publicly share the link and only those with the correct password will gain access to the file!
As for anonymous URL redirection service, it will be like others, except it will bearly load GemX site! We value your time. So we wont make you wait for even a second!
